At HobbyMate, we are committed to providing the best possible experience for connecting with local hobbies, workshops & things to make hobbies richer and better. This refund policy outlines our approach to refunds for our services, products/items, and any paid offerings within the HobbyMate platform.

1. Event-Specific Refunds

For events organized through HobbyMate, refund policies are set by individual event organizers:

  • Each event may have its own cancellation and refund terms
  • Guest cancellations by organizers may be eligible for refunds at the organizer's discretion
  • HobbyMate is not responsible for third-party event cancellations or no-shows

2. Third-Party Payment Processors

HobbyMate uses trusted payment processors (Apple App Store, Google Play Store) are subject to their respective refund policies:

  • Refund requests for app store purchases need to be made directly to the app store
  • In-app purchases processed through our platform follow this refund policy

3. Account Termination and Refunds

If your account is terminated for violating our Terms of Service:

  • No refunds will be issued for unused portions of premium subscriptions
  • Outstanding marketplace payments may be held pending investigation
  • Cashout out of HobbyMate after policy changes cancellation acceptance

4. Changes to This Policy

HobbyMate reserves the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated through:

  • In-app notifications to all users
  • Email notifications to premium subscribers
  • Updated effective date at the top of this page
